How the routine works

Light wakes the body before sound ever needs to. Two devices and a scent, thirty minutes, no alarm shock.

1. 30 minutes before wake time. The sunrise alarm begins its gradual glow, rising like a real dawn on the dresser — this is what actually wakes you, not the sound.
2. As you get up. Switch the diffuser to a citrus blend for the morning. A different scent from the night before helps mark the change from sleep to day.
